THE CAM CLOSE AROUND 22.00 - 23.59 CET when outside. No cam with heavy rain (today-weather) and no cam on Sunday and Thursday, only for something special (and.... sometimes when I am in a good mood :-) )
This cam (LifeCam Cinema or Lifecam HD-5000) an indoor-cam used outside (not with heavy-rain or cold below 0ºC) , shows my view over a part of 'het IJ' , a waterway that goes thru Amsterdam, that connects the northsea at IJmuiden, the northwest of Holland to other rivers and canals to the north- and east of Holland.,

2 faqs ; Q: What are those sticks in the water? A: These are the remains of the rest of the breakwater after a bombing in worldwar2 and partly demolition in 1970, they don't do much about it, there are rumours and official drawings of a not exploded ww2 bomb in the wet point, the intact part of the breakwater is used as recreation and events .. Q: How deep is the water? A: across at omya 5,5 mtr, in the middle to east (right) 10,5 mtr, to the west (left) 10.5 - 15.5mtr .. see the global portmap in pdf.
